PROJECT DESCRIPTION:



Schooled” North Lake College Video Technology Program Short Film (Student Short Film 7min.) Synopsis: A college student, Allen, does poorly on tests and later finds his failed tests posted across the campus hallways. He assumes that his know it all rival, Marcus is behind this. A shy stuttering student named Gary is Marcus’ “Assistant.” Marcus often treats Gary poorly. Allen decides to befriend Gary so that he will assist him in scamming Marcus. After the scam goes bad we learn that Gary was not a student after all and that he was faking his stutter.

CHARACTERS


EXTRAS	(18-89 Any ) Extras: OFFICER – Male, Late 20’s. STUDENTS- Any gender, 20’s Characters: ALLEN – Male, Early 20’s- A slacker in school, who does poorly on tests. He is quick tempered and judges people easily. He seeks revenge after learning that his failed tests were posted on the campus hall. MARCUS – Male, Early 20’s- A rich preppy student that is very cocky and rubs in the fact that he knows everything. He is Allen’s rival and they have never liked each other. GARY – Male, Mid-20’s- The average nerdy student who goes unnoticed. He is very shy and stutters a lot. However he has a hidden agenda. PROFESSOR – Any gender, he/she seems to be burned out with their career path but keeps it up to pay the bills, 30-60’s. PRESIDENT – Any gender, he or she looks friendly at first but deep down this person is not to be crossed, 40’s- 60’s.
